Our Sacred Space Yoga is a sanctuary for self-exploration, healing, lightheartedness, and community. Our mission is to provide quality yoga classes and workshops as well as a supportive environment to assist students in cultivating physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Our space is located in the heart of downtown Hartsville, SC, 2nd floor of Black Creek Arts Center. We welcome all levels of yoga practitioners, from novice to experienced; we have something to offer everyone. The most challenging part of practicing yoga is just showing up!

A slower paced, alignment based yoga class geared toward a beginner student, but suitable for intermediate students who want to refine their yoga practice. Classic yoga poses will be presented with emphasis on correct alignment and precise actions in the body. All levels, especially beginners, welcomed.

Escape the hustle of your day, and find calm amidst the chaos with this flow designed to cultivate tranquility of mind. Combining the long-held passive poses of Yin with the dynamic flow of Vinyasa, the class begins with an invigorating flow to connect breath with mindful movements and ends with passive, restorative poses to create flexibility, mindfulness, and softness in the body. This class is perfect for anyone seeking to reset and relax after a long day. All levels welcomed.
Start your morning with gentle stretches and fluid movements with a strong focus on mindfulness and self-exploration. Perfect for the student who lives a busy, stressful life and wants to reach a state of deep relaxation. All levels, especially beginners, welcomed.
Happy Hour Flow:
Shake off the work week and firmly ground yourself in joy! Linking breath with mindful movement, this class will help release the physical and mental stress of the week and help you access the bliss within. Movement, breathing, and meditation. All levels welcomed.
Yoga isn't just for adults! This fun, interactive class will help in teaching kids applicable yoga philosophy within the modalities of music, storytelling, fun movement, and arts and crafts. Having children involved in the practice of yoga is incredibly beneficial! The benefits include, but are not limited to, developing body awareness, managing stress and anger, building confidence and improving upon concentration and positive self-image. For kids aged 4-10.
Do you want to deepen your understanding of yoga as a philosophical and spiritual practice? Linking breath with mindful movement, this class will firmly ground you in the present moment in order to create a sacred space for contemplation of deeper philosophical passages from ancient spiritual texts, such as The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, The Bhagavad Gita, and The Dhammapada. All levels welcomed.
While yoga isn't "just" about the asana, or postures, they are a great tool for cultivating our mental focus and determination. Our inner fire and our true essence are crucial factors when attempting to manifest our deepest desires and intentions. When fully engaged in the practice, on the yoga mat, it gives meaning and purpose to our lives. We aren't just doing some yoga postures, we are emanating and transferring energy in order to better transition our dreams into reality. This powerful yoga class will include a dynamic, strong physical practice, focusing primarily on standing postures, core work, arm balances, and inversions. This class is not intended for beginners.
A dynamic and vigorous, fitness based, vinyasa flow inspired by the Ashtanga yoga tradition. This challenging class will utilize linking creative sequences & pranayama to focus on building strength, self awareness, flexibility and balance within body, mind, and spirit. Room is heated to 85 degrees to help build heat – so come prepared to sweat with intention. A strength flow class is challenging, but modifications are available for beginners.
Yoga for Anxiety:
Anxiety is a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome. This gentle yoga class is designed to alleviate symptoms of anxiety and teach stress management techniques to manage daily struggles. Postures, breathing, and guided meditation included. Not intended to replace proper medical and/or psychiatric care. Perfect for beginners.
Yoga for EveryBody
The idea behind "Yoga for EveryBody" is to live a confident life – one in which our true nature of clarity, happiness, and peace is cultivated, so that we may experience the challenges of our human lives with open-hearted ease. We invite our entire community to discover their own self-confidence through positive self-talk, caring yoga instruction, and an empowering teacher. This balanced class draws from Yin and Vinyasa flow. Yin helps find release in connective tissues and helps remove deep blockages with internal energy flow, while Vinyasa is a more rhythmic, flowing repetition of movements that require strength and balance. No matter your experience, flexibility, age, size, shape, or athletic ability.... there is a yoga for you. Yoga is truly for EveryBody.
