Welcome to Our Sacred Space Yoga!

At Our Sacred Space Yoga, we do more than practice yoga—we build connection, cultivate presence, and create space for transformation. Located in the heart of downtown Hartsville, upstairs at Black Creek Arts, our studio is a welcoming haven where you can show up exactly as you are and feel at home.

Yoga here is about more than movement. It’s about community—finding your people, sharing your journey, and supporting each other along the way. Whether you’re brand new to yoga or have been practicing for years, we’ve got something for you. Our classes are fun, accessible, and grounded in tradition, designed to help you feel strong, balanced, and empowered.

The hardest part is simply showing up, but once you do, you’ll know you belong. So come as you are, join us on the mat, and be part of something special.

Class packages must be used within 60 days of purchase and are non-transferable.

Important Info:

  • The studio is located upstairs at Black Creek Arts. If you require elevator access, please email Jamie Martell prior to class. The entrance to the studio is through the door to the left of the main entrance.

  • If paying with cash or check, please bring exact change or make checks payable to “Black Creek Arts.”

  • Bring your own props if possible; limited props are available and must be disinfected after use.

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

Align & Flow

Fight, flight, freeze, or flow? We all have free will and can choose our own adventure. However, life can be much sweeter when we can align seasonally, celestially, and/or psychologically with the spiral dance of life. This class will link breath with fluid movement in order to get practitioners into a state of receptivity to be able to go with the inevitable flow of movement and change. Lots of options and modification will be provided. Not intended for absolute beginners.

Chair Yoga

This inclusive, all-levels class truly is for every body! Linking breath with movement, we’ll stretch, strengthen, and release tension in a way that feels good and accessible. Props like blocks, blankets, and chairs are available to support your practice, and modifications are always offered. Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned yogi, you’ll find a welcoming space here. Come as you are and leave feeling empowered and refreshed!

Deep Stretch

Maximum benefit and relaxation without any unnecessary effort! This relaxing yoga class will consist of gentle, floor based movements,  seated and reclined postures with longer holds, calming breathing exercises, and guided meditations. A perfect way to decompress after a busy day! Beginner friendly.

Hot Yoga

Experience a dynamic flow inspired by Ashtanga Vinyasa in a heated room (80-85°F) designed to enhance flexibility, improve circulation, and detoxify the body. Breath (Ujjayi) and movement (Vinyasa) come together to build strength, balance, and focus. Each month, we explore a different theme—like balance or backbends—to keep your practice fresh and evolving. Some yoga experience is recommended, as we move through more advanced poses, but modifications are always provided. Step into the heat, challenge yourself, and connect with a supportive community.

Sacred Flow

Prepare for a hot, hip, and holy experience in this powerful yoga class designed to connect you with the Divine. Expect intelligently sequenced postures, breathing techniques, mantra, live chanting, yogic philosophy, and meditation, all set to an inspiring playlist. This class offers a sacred space for self-inquiry and deep connection, inviting you to move at your own pace and find your edge. Modifications are provided, but some yoga experience is recommended. Not suitable for absolute beginners or those recovering from illness or injury.

90-minutes

Yin Yoga

Release tightness and relax into a state of stillness and bliss. Restorative, passive poses are typically held for 2-5 minutes, allowing the body's connective tissues to release tension and revive mobility. In yin, we welcome stillness as a means to find comfort in discomfort and equip the mind to cultivate peace in every moment. All levels welcome.

Yoga Basics

A slower-paced, alignment-based yoga class geared toward a beginner student, but suitable for intermediate students who want to refine their yoga practice. Classic yoga poses will be presented with emphasis on correct alignment and precise actions in the body. All levels, especially beginners, welcomed.
