Black Creek Arts Council offers regular art classes and workshops for all ages and levels of expertise. We also have a program of wellness classes including yoga and yoga workshops. Check out our current classes below or view the class calendar on our events page.
Our program is 5-month long with weekend intensives, homework assignments and tasks, daily meditation and/or journaling, and weekly yoga classes. During the weekend intensive, classes will be held Friday's 6-9pm, Saturday's 9-6pm, and Sunday's 1-6pm. The dates of the weekend intensives are: 6/5, 6/26, 7/17, 8/7, 8/28, 9/18, 10/9, & 10/30.

This twelve week workshop series will illustrate the linkages between yoga philosophy and the spiritual principles behind the 12 steps. The series is an opportunity for the students to explore the two complementary paths, uncovering and discovering what it standing in the way of being fully awake, peaceful and happy in this lifetime.

Our Sacred Space Yoga is a sanctuary for self-exploration, healing, lightheartedness, and community. Our mission is to provide quality yoga classes and workshops as well as a supportive environment to assist students in cultivating physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Our space is located in the heart of downtown Hartsville, SC, 2nd floor of Black Creek Arts Center. We welcome all levels of yoga practitioners, from novice to experienced; we have something to offer everyone. The most challenging part of practicing yoga is just showing up!
