Wild Basketry Workshop

Come learn to make random woven baskets out of foraged materials just in time for Easter. These baskets are perfect for harvesting vegetables, carrying garden tools, or rustically decorating your space!

If you are going to harvest your own materials, please target invasive species such as kudzu, English Ivy, Asian wisteria, and the like. They're best harvested before the sap flow begins, before spring leaves start to form on things like kudzu, but they can be harvested whenever. Fill up a five-gallon bucket with tightly coiled vines and cover them with water the night before the event so they can soak.
