In Impasto Flowers, participants will explore the expressive technique of impasto painting, where thick layers of paint create bold, sculptural texture. Using palette knives instead of brushes, artists will build a vibrant floral scene that feels alive with movement and dimension. This class focuses on technique, texture, and creative confidence, resulting in a striking 3-D artwork to take home.

ABOUT THE TEACHER:
Hi! I'm Holly Barr! Before you get to know the artist in me, my more important roles are wife and mother to two boys and three dogs! Learning to paint as a young child, the art journey is never a dull one. Your art grows and changes as you do. As a South Carolina artist, I draw a lot of my inspiration from our diverse landscapes. I would love the opportunity to bring some nature into your home.
