Embodied Summer Reading with June Avant
Join us for a guided, experiential journey through The Artist’s Way—where reading becomes practice, and creativity is something you feel, not just discuss. This offering weaves together gentle movement, reflective journaling, and meaningful conversation to support you in reconnecting with your creative self in a way that feels grounded, spacious, and real.
This is not your typical book club. It’s a space to slow down, listen inward, and explore what wants to emerge—creatively, emotionally, and physically.
Each session will include:
✨ Gentle, accessible yoga-based movement to awaken the body
✨ Guided journaling to deepen reflection
✨ Group sharing and discussion in a supportive environment

About the Teacher:
June Avant believes in the healing power of movement. A lifelong overthinker, she’s drawn to practices that quiet the mind and bring her back into the body. Her yoga journey began nearly 20 years ago with a few poses in a friend’s living room and has since evolved into a deep passion for the transformative nature of yoga. After completing her 200-hour teacher training at Our Sacred Space School of Yoga in 2017, June began teaching Yin, Slow Flow, and workshops that make yoga accessible and empowering. Her classes are approachable, compassionate, and infused with humor—reminding students not to take themselves too seriously while doing deeply meaningful work.
