Learn how to make a black and white relief print with Adrian Rhodes! Adrian will teach you how to design and transfer your image for printing, how to use tools to carve your linoleum block, and how to print your work- both by hand and on a small relief press. Each student can expect to make one piece of artwork in the workshop.

DATES & TIMES:

July 24-25, 2026

  • Friday Night: 6-8 PM.  Look at relief prints, design and transfer your image. Carving basics.

  • Saturday Morning: 10-11:30  Carve your block! -Bring a bag lunch-

  • Saturday Afternoon: 12- 2:30- Printing (open studio for students to work until 5PM, if they desire to stay.) 

INVESTMENT:

$150 + $15 Supply fee 

ABOUT THE TEACHER:

Adrian Rhodes teaches printmaking at the University of South Carolina.  She is a nationally recognized artist holding an MFA from Winthrop University. Her website is www.adrianrhodes.com and her instagram is @adrian_rhodes
