OUR HANDS, OUR TIGER

Community-Built Landmark

More than a sculpture, Our Hands, Our Tiger is a community legacy project. Created from hundreds of hand silhouettes contributed by students, alumni, families, and community members, this permanent public artwork celebrates Butler’s history, pride, and future.

Together, our hands will form a tiger, a symbol of the generations who have shaped this community and continue to carry its story forward.

The finished artwork will stand as a permanent landmark honoring the people, memories, and traditions that define Butler.

Every Hand Has a Story

A Legacy We Build Together

For generations, Butler has been a place of pride, resilience, and community connection. Every hand represents a person, a memory, and a story worth preserving.

• Every hand tells a story
• Every person leaves a mark
• Together, we create something lasting
