NEW for 2024 - Happy Little Tri, The "Happy Little Tri" is a unique wellness event that blends yoga, a 5K run, and painting into one joyful experience. Participants start the day with a calming yoga session to stretch and center themselves, followed by an invigorating 5K run through scenic surroundings. The event concludes with a relaxing painting session, where participants can unleash their creativity and unwind. It's a perfect blend of physical activity, mindfulness, and artistic expression, designed to nourish body and soul.
Happy Little Fun Run is an upcoming event to raise funds for Art Education in Darlington County. We strongly believe in the power of art to inspire, educate, and transform lives.
The Happy Little Fun Run is an annual community event that brings together individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities for a fun-filled physical activity. Participants will embark on a joyous 5-kilometer run or walk, surrounded by camaraderie and artistic expression. Hartsville's public art will be highlighted along the route for participants to view beautiful artwork and murals, ensuring that every step taken during the event celebrates creativity.

$750 is the average amount a teacher spends on supplies, with some spending $1200 or more
$250 buys paint, pencils, and crayons for 30 students
$1000 purchases music stands for 600 students
$500 buys enough glaze for 300 students to glaze 1 pottery project
$600 buys Maracas, Triangles, and Shakers for 760 students
The in-person run will occur on Saturday, September 21, 2024, and start and finish at Burry Park.
The Happy Little Fun Run is all about spreading joy and having FUN! So, get ready to dress up, paint some happy little trees, put on your running shoes, and hit the pavement with a smile on your face! It's not just a run, it's a celebration of happiness and fun.
